iPhone Basic Training is a 3 day class that starts with how to become an official Apple iPhone developer and the fundamentals of the iPhone SDK. Students are guided through basic application construction, data management, managing views and navigation, web services and animation. Classes are small and involve hands-on individual and group exercises under the supervision of the instructor.
Lead Instructor: Alex Cone, CEO, CodeFab
Alex Cone has over 20 years' experience designing and implementing large-scale, mission critical systems for leading Wall Street firms and has also been working with Cocoa since its infancy - when it was still called NeXTstep and recently at Apple hq in Cupertino, California. When the iPhone SDK came out he brought together all his developers for an in-house "kitchen" on iPhone coding. CodeFab has been doing iPhone consulting ever since. Alex is a recognized expert in WebObjects, Web Services, enterprise scale financial systems and iPhone development and has lectured at Apple and OpenBase developer conferences.
The workshop includes over two hundred pages of course material specifically written for the workshop by the instructor Alex Cone, refreshments and lunches.
